The African Tea Cosy

Starting from their base at a dimly lit city café, four young women wade through a society reeking of fanfare, illicit sex, hair-rousing abuses and sometimes, murder itself. In the midst of all this is a dead body in an apartment and it must disappear before it rots and stinks. Each of the women here has great style. She knows how to reward a good man. She knows how to take down a brute and more importantly, how to move on into the setting sun, in search of love, treasure, trust and fulfillment.

The African Tea Cosy is funny, amazing and tantalising. From the very first line the language fizzes with a calculated carefree menace.
